Swindon WOW Guide
The Swindon What’s On When (WOW) Guide is a listing of groups and activities suitable for older adults. It includes details of local social and support groups, lunch clubs, activity and exercise sessions, memory cafes and much more.

AgeUK Wiltshire Fitness and Friendship Clubs
Age UK Wiltshire provides a range of services to help older people stay safe, make informed choices and be independent yet connected and provides a great opportunity for older adults to socialise and stay active.  Each meeting includes gentle exercise to help maintain strength, balance and flexibility.

Otago Falls Prevention Programme 
Otago is an evidence-based falls prevention programme for adults aged 65 and over. Sessions are delivered by Live Well Swindon as a 16-week course across Swindon for a small fee. Sessions involve strength exercises to help strengthen the muscles around the hips, legs and ankles, and balance exercises to help increase stability and improve confidence when walking and performing everyday activities.

Live Well Swindon
Live Well Swindon provides advice and support in areas such as being active, falls prevention, stopping smoking, weight management, connecting to communities and volunteering, and managing long-term health conditions and staying independent. It also delivers a range of activities and programmes designed to inspire, motivate and assist people to live well and benefit from a healthy lifestyle.

Healthwise Programme
Public Health Swindon have partnered with Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) to deliver their well-established Healthwise programme in Swindon. The Healthwise programme is suitable for individuals who have been referred by their GP or Healthcare Professional to increase their levels of physical activity. The activities take place in GLL gyms and leisure centres and are designed to offer support and guidance to help people make long term lifestyle changes to increase activity in a safe and enjoyable way.

This on-line fitness studio contains a range of instructor-led fitness studio videos covering aerobic exercises, strength and resistance and pilates and yoga. There is also a strength and Flex exercise programme.
